Q: Y-Pipe for 2002 Ford Explorer.?
So, i need a new one. My warranty expired and the dealer wants over $1,000 for it. Its got 3 catalytic converters on it. 2 at the top of the Y and one at the end of the Y where the pipes come together.

Anyone out there work for a Ford Dealership or know someone that works at a Dealership and can offer me their discount?

Or perhaps personally know of a junk yard that would have a freshly recked exploder from 2002-2005.
I am in the Washington DC metro/NOVA area.

I have the installation covered. I just need the part.

I have looked for aftermarket parts and no one makes it. Not Walker Mufflers or any other legitimate exhaust company.

A: you CANNOT buy a used one from a salvage yard,it’s against federal law.However,you can buy a “re-certified” one at brownrecycling.com for much less than a new one
